Me and Kensnismo met at starbucks, had coffee, went to Classic and there were about 10-15 cars but it started sprinkling and so they started tearing stuff down and canceling it. No one missed out. I'll try to find out if they're doing it next week or not

Sorry it was canceled after such an early start. The wife and I were betting on it being rescheduled and decided to get wasted last night. Looking forward to the next show.

Aperture is great. I use it for everything. As for a Lens I'm not too sure about Canon's stuff because I shoot with Nikon. But a suggestion would be to get a lens with a large aperture such as f1.4, 1.8, 2, or 2.8. With larger apertures (aperture is the blades inside the lens that open and close to control depth of field and how much light can hit the cameras sensor during any given shot) you can blur the background by controlling the depth of field which is great for isolating the subject, and they're also better for getting faster shutter speeds by allowing more light to hit the sensor, which means less blurry photos.

Is there anything going on after the 15th? I'm currently in school in Colorado and have my Z at home.

Well, there will be no C&C this weekend despite last weekends rain as the show was not actually cancelled, they had everything set up and ready but then took everything down really early before most people had even arrived because of the rain. So Jan 7th is the date for the next show.

One week away from cars and coffee in January on the 7th. If weather stays anything like it is now this will be an awesome show with amazing turnout.
