And here is a google map, Red marker is Rolling Oaks Mall and blue marker is Retama Park. Its not a very busy mall but has huge parking lots, so gathering should be easy.\

Also if the you guys coming from Dallas don't want to drive too far past Retama we could alternatively meet at The Forum which is marked with a green marker but The Forum is a far busier mall. Let me know so i can update this.

May I ask why you are looking for hotels near the riverwalk? That's a good 20 min drive to Retama. :ughdance:

I've stayed at the Sheraton Gunther multiple times and have always been pleased. It's not ON the Riverwalk, but it is only a few minute walk. We walked to the Alamo and everywhere, never moved the car. And the price is good, somehow my wife always gets us a premium room on the 12th (top) floor for cheap...can't remember how much now though. 3 or 4 star hotel. We like it because it is historic, but not everyone likes that. :twocents: :tiphat:

Damm, well if it's a few mins walk then it probably means it's all booked by now :/ I think hotels by the riverwalk requires booking at least a month in advance :(

It looks like they have rooms available, but they are $361/night for a King on the Club floor. Somehow my wife has gotten us in for $110/night every time. :D

I saw that the Plaza Hotel had rooms, too... But also for $394/night lol... A bit much for a place to crash for a few hours

la cantera mall is by six flag and by the dominion where all the rich people in SA live lol talking million dollar houses 24/7 guarded, hell they even had security posted there at the gate on Christmas day checking people in lol

Nope, Retama Park is pretty large, it should be able to accommodated everyone easily.

If you are by the airport, thats a 15 or so minute drive from Retama. Another 15 minute drive from the hotel to downtown SA probably
