I've stayed at the Sheraton Gunther multiple times and have always been pleased. It's not ON the Riverwalk, but it is only a few minute walk. We walked to the Alamo and everywhere, never moved the car. And the price is good, somehow my wife always gets us a premium room on the 12th (top) floor for cheap...can't remember how much now though. 3 or 4 star hotel. We like it because it is historic, but not everyone likes that.
