OT: Anyone in Houston area know of a place to look for wheels? I got the Turing with 18" wheels and want to find some 19s either aftermarket or stock sport wheels

I travel to Houston quite frequently and would love to meet up somewhere on the weekends. I drive from San Antonio usually on the weekends. Let me know if there are any meets on Friday/Saturday nights. My parents live on the NE side of town but my g/f lives downtown, so I could meet up virtually anywhere. My buddy has a BMW and we went out to a BMW meet about a month ago and was out on I-10 towards Katy. It was fun, would like to see some Z meets!

Ok guys, back in town, I think Wednesday will stay the day for this week, same time and place. Glad to see we are getting some more interest and it soon may be time to add a weekend day in for a meet up once a month or so. After this Wednesday we can talk more about more days/times.

Hope to see more of you out on Wednesday.

Good to hear you will be there, I got a PM from Tony (red Z) and he should be there. I enjoyed your run wstar but I still think it is way to short for this car. Though Houston (and surrounding) is not exactly a match made in heaven with roads.

Well that's what roadtrips are for :) I put 500 miles on the car between Houston and Waxahachie this weekend, fun times, lots of diversions on side roads just for the extra curves. Some cool highway stuff too, but I'd rather not post those stories. Let's just say I made excellent time :)

Sounds good, so did anyone meet up last night, sorry I had to skip this week but I hope to be out in two weeks when we meet again. Which should be June 10, 2009.

Well I didn't make it either, had some issues come up yesterday evening that demanded attention.

Any other owners besides you that you know of in the Corpus area? It would be kinda neat to get 8-12 370's rolling in unison up to Houston. I am here in the coastal bend as well.

Last meet up, well glad to meet TX 370, it seems it might be best to move this to a weekend maybe as many are unable to make the weekday meet up?
Also have thought about seeing if there is a larger Z group in Houston that meets up, if anyone knows that would be great to talk to other Z owners.

Found a cool car show to go @ hooters on gulf freeway (I-45) and Nasa Rd 1

Saw a group of 350z, but I was the only one with the 370z. The 350z guys didn't seem to want to talk.

I think its there every sat. night. They have sectioned off areas for show cars. I guess I showed up too late. hehe.

There is a meet in the SE side every Saturday.....45 south Hooters.
There is about 7-8 of us 3 fiddy's though and lots of domestics/hot rod.

I will be there. I was digging the atmosphere. Real relaxed and fun. Not enough imports though. Lot of domestic's but they where very nice to look drool over (classics).

I wished I could bring my wife, but she is 8 weeks away from giving birth to our 3rd kiddo and is not in any mood to stand in any way or be even "remotely warm/hot"

I am on the website to register for the event, and it seems the location is down 288 north of Angleton. I would be down for a cruise as I really am unsure where it is and getting lost with others would be fine. :D

Going to bump this up, I think after this Wednesday meet up I am going to find the best day on the weekend and time to move this to and a more central location. I enjoyed the up town area where we had the Z & coffee meet up but might try to find another location. Please post up a good spot you know of & time you would like, I will see what fits the most or best and see what we can do.

Well tonight is the meet up, hope to see some of you out tonight, and maybe we can pick a new place & day to meet up that helps everyone.
