[Hou] CCM X Cruise to Dallas

CCM X details: http://www.the370z.com/texas/36773-c...10-dallas.html
Time: 4PM-9PM
Because Firewheel Mall could not accommodate the amount of attendance and doubled the price of rental space, we had to change locations to the Texas Museum of Automotive that fits 6,000 vehicles! (25 min from Firewheel Mall) 3550 Grand Ave Dallas, TX 75210 Gate #5

Since the meet is at 4PM I figure we should be leaving at 11am.
Meet location: 19091 I-45 S. Shenandoah, TX 77385
There is a gas station at the Sam's club which I figured we could meet around that area.

EDIT: You know, we might want to leave a little earlier in case we need to wash bugs and shiz off the front of our cars... You know these dirty Texas Highways have a lot of bugs!

11AM should be plenty of time.

Is 2 hours enough lead time from San Antonio? Having never driven in TX before, I don't know the roads/traffic patterns.

SA to Houston is about 2.5-3 depending on where you are and where you are going.
Once I hammer out a starting place next week we can figure that out.

Ok cool, I'll most likely be coming from Lackland AFB to give you a rough starting point from my side.

Usually 3 hours... cops are BAD between Houston and SA these days. I highly do not recommend speeding on I-10 in this section.

Copy that. I'm debating borrowing a fuzz buster or not, only place I've ever gotten a ticket before was the panhandle of TX on the 40 before Amarillo. Smallest section of a state I had to go through, but TX State Troopers don't play. :rofl2:

I'll try to make it. I should have my FI exhaust by then :excited: I guess you are gonna spend the night in Dallas right?

TX_370 05-23-2011 07:51 PM

I will be.

Thinking of a north location for the meet up, possibly the Woodlands right off 45 so no one is traveling any extra.
