I rather enjoy KD myself, especially given the Longhorn background. Too bad he couldn't play for a Texas team.

Basically my entire professional sports allegiances are based on where Texas Longhorns are playing. I definitely have some state pride, so I root for Texas teams when I can.

Who's in for this Friday at 8 pm? And what area are you coming from so we can try to accommodate everyone? Tracie and I are pretty far north...


Decent choices there, except I'm thinking the Opal Divine's up north would be a better location (Mopac @ Parmer) due to ROT Rally. And if I remember correctly, Billy's has a very small parking lot. I used to go to Jorge's a lot just a street over on Hancock, but it's been years.

Little Woodrow's isn't half bad - they don't serve food, but you can bring your own or have it delivered to the bar. I think there's several - one is just a few blocks from us (Parmer @ McNeil)

There are some pretty good places in the Domain, although typically pretty expensive, too - Fleming's comes to mind.

I'm always down for Opal's north. Just wanted to put some options out there for our Southern folk. Hopefully one of them chimes in. Anyone know any good places off Mopac or even 360?

Rudy's on 360 There's also a Tres Amigos, I believe. Both are near south intersection of Mopac @ 360.

I live on South Congress, but I am flexible....Fairly new to the area and up for suggestions.

Flying Saucer or Billy's might be ideal then, location-wise. However, if you haven't yet been to Rudy's then I am obligated to vote for that choice. If it's not too far for you, the 183 Rudy's might be a better choice than the South 360 one.
