Yes. We registered just to get the invite from Nissan about two and a half weeks ago

Is this registration through Nissan or Nissan Motorsports? I registered the car with Nissan after purchase - I get emails from them that are different from the emails I get from the dealer where I bought my car. I did not receive anything regarding the COTA event :(

Exactly, same here.

Dunno ... Maybe I got the email because I was involved with the Nissan Car Corral at the Grand Am race at COTA in March ...

It seems as though Nissan is contacting the clubs prior to opening registration. I hope that I can participate in this event. Though it may be too late to join one of the clubs and get the private invite.

Yeah Jar.. the cut off for signing up for this event for the z club in SA was almost 2 weeks ago.

What, no heads up? Aren't we friends?! :shakes head:

Jar, I did read something in the Cars and Coffee newsletter about being able to sign up for a drive at COTA.

My thoughts exactly...

I don't get a C&C newsletter so I have no idea.

I erased my copy this time since it's usually the same stuff over and over. Definitely saw something about signing up to be selected to drive it though.

I just realized the Nissan event at COTA has some seriously bad timing ... it's the same weekend as the 24 hrs of Le Mans!
