I've been trying to talk the hubs into finding one with a salvage title that I can still mod. Problem is buying all my mods again will cost me closer to retail than it did the first time. Might as well wait for the next gen if it ever comes around.
I'll throw some wheels and an axle back "exhaust" on the 6 and see how happy that makes me feel. (It won't....)

Instead of modding the 6, save every dime and put yourself one step closer to another z. But... I'm one to talk... I'm all for instant gratification. I got the z when I couldn't afford a GTR. Lol Now I'll never afford one... Mod after mod after mod. Lol

I haven't thrown on my oil cooler yet so I am assuming that is a must have for summer? Thanks! |

Depends on how you drive the car. Tires should be fine for street driving. Just be careful if performance tires haven't warmed up. I had some issues with RE-11s but the other tires I've used have been fine. I expect S-04s will not present any problems.
I don't have an oil cooler. I hit 220-240F temps on the gauge daily for years now. I get a little timing pulled in the summer now and again, but no limp mode or anything. Not having an oil cooler just keeps me from beating on it for any length of time. If I sat in bumper to bumper traffic more often or took it out for autox or track, the oil cooler would be a must. It will likely be my next major mod.

I agree with the oil cooler mod. I myself have a 25 row z1 oil cooler with the Serab core and at most this summer I seen 200°F. 75mph cruising while 100 outside was about 180-190F. It works wonders.

Yeah def wasn't in a hurry to get a cooler being in Illinois.
Looks like i found a home for my z temporarily at Petrol lounge on the north side. Will be shipping it down just in case they needed some jdm action with their exotic owning clients. |

This was the last regular Cars and Coffee and Austin370Z event for me as I'm in a new and different season with life (good changes. Kate and I had a fun time today, peek pictures on my Twitter @r3ptile!
I've enjoyed the many years meeting Z people especially Zaggeron who helped launch Austin370Z. Love and respect for all my Z people. Take the good test, because I care for y'all & want only the best for my Z fam'- NeedGod.com Auston Quote:

I was there but had my family with me from Houston so we spent more time inside Oasis than outside. I got to see your car up close, looks great!

Hello all,
So I recently picked up a 370 and I live up in North Austin / Pflugerville. I was at C&C this last weekend and I saw a few Z's on the roof, was wondering if someone here owned the MB with the EVO-R front lip? |

C&C Pics
Sharing some pics from C&C.
We need more 370z's! Martin Bros Customs reveal their custom pickup. Velocity was there covering it, but not sure if/when it will be on any show. Amazing work this guy did restoring this 300ZX TT... looked like it was frame up restored. This was a cool looking Puma GT 1600. Not bad for a Brazilian car manufacturer. Never heard of this bike before... but I loved how the exhaust came out the front of BOTH the front AND the rear cylinders.
