Thanks for the info. I'm going to try to make this one if the weather is good. Roads out here are terrible right now so it's been tucked away for a while. 1431 is rock chip city right now because of that stupid new subdivision going in.

After visiting Austin in early March I have been watching the water level at Lake Travis on the web. The lake level is up about 50 feet since January. You might actually have water to overlook at the Oasis on Sunday :).

I got caught in that too... Totally forgot about that. I immediately went to bronco car wash in Lago and tried to clean that crap up. Was that tar?? Why in the world would they do that?!?! It was tracked for MILES down 1431 by all the traffic that day.

I think it's crazy enough that the damn subdivision can get away with having that road tore up like that for this long. Pisses me off. Grrrr

Yup, check out the article below and consider filing a claim.

Wow looks like I didn't get the worst of it. Some of those people got it bad.

I have about 5-6 more rock chips and had to fix a chip in the windshield on the Z. My other cars have the same thing... I doubt they'll pay for me a new paint job. Everything else I was able to fix or clean up with no cost or little effort.

Ugh, that's terrible. I'm glad noone was injured, and hopefully those with damaged cars get reimbursed.

In other news, I got my wet diamond sealant in, so, looks like Monday/Tuesday is going to be a nice detailing project, weather permitting.

How about that lovely Austin driving weather today.. eh? EH??

jsutton2 06-21-2015 10:57 AM

Yup... I was going to get out to C&C but I knew it would rain again.

at least you're not sitting in a parking lot of a water park waiting on the rest of your family.
