Just got home from JMS not long ago. Ugh. Was at the shop for 11 hours.

Thats the plan! Time for a bit of sleep before a 4am drive. :D

Sure do hope I don't wake up the neighbors. Would be such a shame.....

I'm on my way to the airport now. I'll listen for ya :icon17:

So, I love the headers and tune, but the car doesn't sound happy at all. I think it may be an exhaust leak somewhere but I'm not sure. :/

Morbid370Z 06-05-2015 11:16 PM

Welp, found the exhaust leak (Thanks JARBlue!).

The downside is that it appears I was tuned with the exhaust leak, and it's bad enough that water is dripping out of the flange now that I have headers.

Sooo... not sure what sort of impact this would have made on the tune. Hopefully I'll get things fixed up on Monday and I'll see how things go.

Did you call jms about getting a refund?

Call me ... at your convenience. I have some additional thoughts about the leak and whether JMS touched those flanges or not.

Maybe. Need to confirm a few things before placing full blame on them I think. At the very least a phone call to explain to them what happened will be in order.

:iagree: best to make them aware of it early.

Morbid370Z 06-06-2015 08:46 AM

Yeah, not sure if it is any fault of JMS. Not looking to lay blame, just want thingd fixed. :3

Pintsize725 06-06-2015 09:14 AM

Did I mess them up somehow?

Morbid370Z 06-06-2015 09:20 AM

Mess what up? You're fine Mrs. Pint. :)

:gtfo2: :p

Everything is fine. We will get it all fixed on Monday. Anything that is still a problem after the new x-pipe install on Monday is likely something to call JMS about. If anything, they are the ones that screwed up ... not you.

Pintsize725 06-06-2015 09:48 AM

You know how I am.
