Awww, man. That sucks. What brand are you using? Is it the Chinese brand? The good thing about Oracle is that they have a lifetime warranty relatively a pretty good brand and made here in the states. Come to think of it, the first LED strip I had from Oracle had a couple of loose LED transistors on the back of some of the LEDs; those are the ones that went out. Michael, who did the work, and I didn't think anything of it with the loose transistors or we would have had it replaced it at that time. I noticed the replacement strip was secure. I haven't had any issues since. Michael also mentioned another company out of California that made their own LEDs that were even more durable but also as pricey if not more than the Oracles.

Mind if I ask where you two (Athlon and Pint) had your Halo's done? Was it down at Houston Halo's, or a DIY project? Also, about what was the cost if I may ask?

I've been thinking about getting it done.

Houston Halos. Though I'm not quite sure I'd recommend them after my repair. There's a crap load of glue hanging out around the inside (engine side) edges of my lights. JARblue tried GooGone on a spot but it looked like it was discoloring the plastic.

Yeah whatever they used to seal up the headlights was never cleaned up properly. It looks terrible. And the paint its on does not appear to be protected by a clear coat. Just about any solvent will take off the finish with enough rubbing pressure.

That's terrible. :( I've heard really good things about them, may want to take pics and let them know?

Sorry to hear about the crappy repair. Hopefully it gets sorted out one way or the other.

That's the thing, I'm not sure if it was done right because he was in an hurry and at a family members house or because he initially gave me a deal and then had to do a repair on it. I just know I'm not happy with it.

Ok, so 5:30 or so to reserve spaces. Sounds good

I graduated in 1999. I thought Carlos was in the same class as me. I'm guessing David was a couple of years back.
