Showed up at 8, waited for a few minutes, saw another guy drive up in a Gun Metal and he drove around for a few minutes. Nobody else showed up.

No worries. I drove around to the other side of the parking lot and even walked around, but all I saw was a 350Z that I think was just eating at some other restaurant. I parked and waited around by the bushes (that doesn't sound sleazy at all!) but then I got bored and left.

As I was leaving I saw the GM pulling in so I pulled back into the lot and followed him. But he drove around the lot too, so I figured maybe the meet just wasn't going to happen so I went home.

It's okay because I have to get up at 5 to go to work so I wasn't going to stay late anyways. Maybe one week you can do a old fogey's early evening car meet at like 6 or something.
