So how are peoples' weekends looking? Shall we try this again?

I will be in Galveston this weekend, plus I do not have my car yet. Would one evening during the week be better for people or is the weekend the best time?

I'm actually pretty flexible most of the time. I work from home and I'm single, so other than the occasional family holiday/birthday type of event, scheduling is pretty easy for me. Wednesday (tomorrow) is out for me, but the rest of the week/weekend looks ok. You guys sort out whatever and I'll show up.

I'm particularly free for the next week or so except for Thurs, when I have a bunch of stuff scheduled.

Another random thing popped into my mind to post, thinking about seeing other Z's in the wild: watch out for the jealous 350 owners in Houston. The little ricer guys have pretty much left me alone on the street (actually, they tend to kinda slink away like they're afraid), but 350 owners have tried to get me into street and highway races several times now

Current Owner.Located hwy 288 and 518. 2weeks old. RED MT6 Sport/Tour. Im down for Bimonthly meet in Houston. I work every other weekend. I wish this rainy weather would stop so I can cruise. I would love to hear some of people's exhausts in person before I committ to an exhaust system. Also has anyone tired HOCUS POCUS IMPORT tunning Inc. here in houston?

Nice to see more Houston 370's showing up around here I haven't tried Hocus Pocus, no. The only performance shops I've been through with my Z (just to use their Dynos though) are Carboy and EngineLogics. Both seemed to have pretty reputable and knowledgeable guys on hand. Carboy is a more laid-back environment, clearly lots of import/JDM connections to order parts, they were a lot of fun to hang out and talk with while cooling down for Dyno runs. The EngineLogics guys run a bit more upscale "professional" looking place, but I was left with the impression that these guys are probably very good at ECU stuff especially (although both shops are likely pretty good at just about anything). Both had lots of project cars around, and the work looked good. I'd go back to either if I needed anything done professionally.

So I would like to setup a meet this next week in Houston for all 370z owners & friends. What I would think to be best is to list your top four areas you would like to meet, maybe something nearby, area you like, whatever, but also in order the best day to meet. In general I was thinking of meeting at 7 or 8 and go till whenever everyone leaves.

If you have a direct suggestion on a specific spot post it, ex. I-10/Beltway 8 in the 59 diner, pappasittos, etc. plaza.

Yeah, we need to revive this idea and get together, especially now that we have more Houston owners on here. I live near I-10/Beltway 8 on the west side, but I'm comfortable driving anywhere. Good excuse to put more miles on the Z . I'm hoping the gaskets I need to fix up my exhaust will be here early next week and be in by next weekend (and my switch to Motul 300V by then), so about then would be a great time. Assuming I get all that done, I'm gonna be hitting the dyno again next weekend too.

So would you guys like to do this during the week or weekend one evening? Say, Wednesday night at 7 on I-10 somewhere?
If we do a bi-monthly meeting we can do it in two locations, the first one on I-10/Beltway and then another one closer to downtown or on the east side completely.
