Default Finally a Z owner! and need a clearbra in houston

Finally picked up my Z on Saturday! 2009 pg base w/ sport and 15k miles. Love this car! manual transmission car with torque is not near as bad as a civic.

Anyways, there are a couple of rock chips on the front bumper thanks to the previous owner so i need to get a clearbra and tint done asap!

Are there any good shops in houston? How much did you guys pay and whats the difference between the different types of clearbra?

I might need to buy new pants too cause i think wearing the crotch out driving this car around!

thanks guys

If you can find a clearbra place that 3M aerospace film, ive heard it provides really good protection. Most people go with Ventureshield (now owned by 3M), because it has the least amount of yellowing over time.. And as for a place, I have no clue.

Just met with Chris Gilbert here in town yesterday. He has a garage at the Aston Martin dealership on Old Katy road. Super impressed with his work and he is totally upfront and honest.

He uses Venture Shield mainly because the adhesive isn't as strong as others, making it easier to remove at a later date if needed. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

Also prefers to have the car for 2 days–one to install and one to make sure everything seated correctly after installing.

He walked me around the shop/dealership and showed me cars he's done and cars other installers have done. All of his stuff is pre cut and if you want a custom install, he will have a person come and measure the car and create a custom template for you.

Got my tint done at Xtreme tint on Spring cypress rd. They also do clear bra. The tint was about 175 to get done, I got limo on all 3 rear windows, 35% on doors and windshield top done.
