texas vehicle disclosure laws

Hi my texas Z owners, recently i came into and issue with my which led me to looking for the current vehicle disclosure laws for selling a new car with repaired parts without telling the the person purchasing the vehicle. Any immediate help would be greatly appreciated like if there is a dollar amount that if the repair is less than then the dealership does not have to tell the buyer as i couldnt not find this but will continue to use google to search.

Thanks all.

In Georgia the dealer does not have to tell the buyer about repairs if the repair cost is below $300-$500 I'm not sure of the exact amount but it is pretty low.

would you say that somthing that was damaged enough to require bondo work before repainting would cost more than 300-500?

It may be this, sorry, I'm not sure.

no, i was more looking for something that might say what is required of a dealership to disclose of a new car kind the post above he mentioned that in GA if the repair damage is less than 500 than the dealership doesnt need to disclose of the damage. thanks though i do appreciate it.

I work in a body shop some repairs w/bondo + paint can be below that amount of money but it is not a big deal if it has been repaired,as long as it is undetectable.

well i noticed these marks in the paint about 4 months ago as thats was about the time the paint was done shrinking. thought it was nothing and would wax out but hasnt. come to find all that i am seeing is the bondo work used to fix whatever damage was there before i purchased the car.

what you are probably seeing is sand scratches in the body work the reason for this is they primered the car and then prepped the car for paint without letting the primer fully cure which is about 24hrs that way you won't see the sand scratches b/c the primer won't be absorbed into the body work b/c it is cured.

na thats not it, I could understand that happening but in this case that wouldnt explain all the overspray that comes from repainting a damaged/repaired part that is on my car.
