Insurance renewal time - recommends in ATX

Just been quoted 950 for my Z and my mini van, plain silly, GEICO online already hit me with 580. Any recommends from agents in or around ATX , Pflugerville,

i pay less than 100 a mo. for the z + a daily driver ford focus. Geico all the way. On a side note: want to buy my longtube headers? im going back to stock

I do not use agents anymore. Take a defensive driving course, it will lower most companies rates. Just call up on the phone and haggle. You can always get it down from what it currently is at.

I avoid taking DD course just to reduce my rates...if I get a ticket, that's my first option in keeping that ticket off my record. The discount on insurance is just an added benefit after that

I've got one ticket for 10 over 1.5 years ago and I pay 1k/6mo for my Z and Mazda 3 (full coverage all around). I think I'm being screwed by Geico.
