I have not driven it yet lol I was totally out of time, Wife gone with two eldest kids to a gymnastic meet today so had all that prep last night too.
This is the 4th cat exchange I have done on Z's ;-) still leave my gloves on the side and pay the price of bleeding knuckles, they are healing good, just scar tissue now ha ha.
Got a killa deal on some parts but had to haul to Dallas for them, hence me being pushed for time, car was already on stands with CAT's off come Sat morn, pre trip.
Header install next and some fab exhaust work - when I get time!
Ill be at next one.

It was good meetin' you both, Auston & Zaggeron. And thx for takin such sweet pix! I let Auston take the Nismo for a spin around the parking lot. That gave me the confidence to know there's nothing wrong with her! You shoulduv seen me on City Park Road this-afternoon, the nismo seemed right at home... and I still kept her below 4k rpms, for the most part. So hard...

And Auston, manual says 1200 miles of break in... Thankfully too, cause I dunno if I could have waited 4k miles!

Was cool meeting the GT guys as well. They have some great stories. I look forward to the next meetup.

Thanks Kastley, that was all me :happydance:.

Man, you're telling me... the GT Guys last night mentioned an unusual break-in of immediately red-lining it (out of the showroom), then immediately changing the oil/filter, adding in a magnet, and then run it like you stole it.

But I've read numerous Z posts similar to yours. I should have ~ 650 miles on her by next saturday morning, then I think i'll take her in for her first oil change, get the front License Plate put on and then add my oil filter magnet. Will see how she runs after that.

Auston, you're right about the weight... I'm not going w/ the sound system anytime soon. I'm finding more and more that I like to listen to the Nismo while I drive it, especially on those roads in west Texas. It adds to the experience as a whole . Also, that stuff beneath my front right bumper was just what ya'll said, Shipping tape. I pulled it off (smoothly) and all is well. Thanks again!

Hi Ya'll!

I'm really sorry I missed the March 13th get-together! I loved meeting all of you and I hope to attend the next "Z-meet." Fortunately, I have FINALLY registered on the forum and can now keep in touch.

Zaggeron 04-01-2010 07:26 PM

April is looking to have a good turnout. Glad you finally registered. Welcome to the world's largest (according to AK) Yo Dawg Forum
