Z Club of Houston (Sticky Pls.)
I want to start this thread to keep the Houston & Greater Houston area Z34 owners informed on events and other relate information regarding the Z club of Houston.
Join us on Facebook; Z Club of Houston (Official) | Facebook :tiphat: Meetings; Membership meetings will be held the third Tuesday of each Month at 7pm (dinner at 6:30pm.) All are welcome! Membership meetings will continue to be held at Hickory Hollow, 101 Heights Blvd., Houston, Texas, corner of Center and Heights Blvd. MapQuest About the Club of Houston: The Z Club of Houston is proud to be the first Z Club chartered in Texas (1974). And it’s the third-oldest Z Club in the United States, behind Group Z (1971) and ZONC (1972), both located in California. Membership is open to all individuals who are interested in the Datsun and Nissan Z cars. You don’t have to own a Z car to be a member; you just have to love ‘em! The Z Club of Houston is a social organization with plenty of activities both car-related and non-car related. So What are some benifits of joining the Z Club? The Z Club does a lot more than just stand in a parking lot and talk about cars. Aside from our monthly get-togethers, we also host full-blown car shows, track events, cruises, and many other things. As the schedule allows, we also cruise up to TWS on a regular basis for SCCA and NASA events to watch some of our members race as well as participate in several other DE events each year. :driving: We also organize several cruises in the spring and fall when the weather is nice, with our springtime Bluebonnet run one of our signature events. Thanks for the sticky mods!
Again visit us on Facebook and check at the events pages for what's Z related going on around Houston! |
This past's Tuesday monthly meeting was another successful one. Two or three new members joined the club. We discuss the clubs by-laws as this was my first concern. Without having by-laws to help regulate and help organize the club we don't have order. Hopefully we get some order and help the ZCoH become a GREAT place for all those interesting in the Datsun/Nissan Z.
Ira, Bryant & myself accepted the positions that we were elected to. And TP accepted the position of Treasure. Current members keep an eye out for e-mail from Bryant with the meeting's minuets and upcoming events! Please join us next month; April 20th 6:30p Dinner & 7:00p Meeting! |

Hey it's Robert K, didn't know you were on this board. I met you once before but you prolly don't remember since it was a while back at the Uptown cars and coffee meet. I'll have to try to make it to one of these meets.

ZCoH,
One last reminder e-mail before Aeros & Autos this Saturday. We are meeting at the McDonalds off of 45S & Scarsdale (14270 Gulf Fwy. 77034) at 7:30am. We'll convoy to Ellington Field (11602 Aerospace 77034) at 8:00am. The show is $35 for car registration, $5 for general admission and children under 3 are free. Looks like it's going to be a normal Houston spring weather with the high in the 90's. So please bring water, sunscreen, and some sort of shade to sit under. Via the forums and talking around town I think this is going to be a large event so remember to grab the camera as well! Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday!!! Thanks!!! ~Robert O'Brien ZCoH President |
Next meeting May18th! BIG news to be announced! See you there!
