hmmmm.... how is the clearance on the front camber arms with a Z lowered on Swifts (1" drop)? I have heard that the SPC arms will 'bump' and rub in the corners or on uneven roads due to less than stock clearance. What about these?.... thoughts?

Your website says:
"Unlike the factory arms which do not allow for adjustment these AMS arms allow 1.5 degrees of positive to 1.5 degrees of negative adjustment." Does that mean the most neg camber you can run is -1.5? Or is that inaddition to? In other words I want -2 to -2.5 deg of camber...is that possible?

For the casual observer that may seem the case.
However several differences not only in the appearance. Ball-Joint, thread pitch and rubber boot to be more exact - along with price. Didn't expect you to know this as you drive a 20+ yr old Z32 and are trying to give input on a 370Z forum with regards to suspension you have no experience with? Plenty of clients locally with these installed as demonstrated in the install and they will readily be available for any direct feedback on their experience with our products for those owners of a 370Z who desire referrals. To run this type of negative camber you may not need any arms at all depending on the drop you are planning? The tread life of your tire beyond 1.5 negative camber of factory settings (which these arms will yield) will be greatly reduced.

I'm going to ask that all recently NEW and current members with an agenda to smear AMS to STOP
You have made your point of WARNING our members here and Thank You AMS has not done nothing wrong HERE as it concerns to our members Yet, And since they have NOT done nothing wrong there's nothing thats going to be done until they are unless getting constant complaints from members here at which Admin will step in and find a solution IF it comes to that. NOW I'm going to ask those involved in spreading the WARNIG about AMS's past? To once again STOP anymore thrashing AMS's threads. Anyone continuing this behavior will be asking for action to be taken against them at which will result in a total out right BAN. BACK ON TOPIC!!! |

I had similar outer adjustable tie rod ends installed by AMS on my Z32 over 3 months ago. By my research, these are supposed to be the ticket for those sporting a substantial lowered ride height. Something about placing less stress on the outer (older style) boot and joint which may eventually compromise the sealing boot due to such a radical angle of the tie rod.
So far this seems to be doing the trick and is working well. Quote:

For those that have inquired about servicing the ball-joints on the front upper arms we will be offering replacement units online for long term usability.
