***KONI Sport Yellows are Finally Here! Pre-order NOW!***

After the long awaited release, the Koni Sport (Yellow) shocks have been finally released!!!

For those who don't know, the Koni Sport Yellow shocks are the premier aftermarket shocks, especially when coupled with performance springs. They are externally adjustable by means of a knob, so they need not be disassembled from the car. The fine-tuning of the damping forces to personal driving style and to different driving conditions is therefore not more than a matter of seconds. The KONI Sport is valved aggressively for the best street performance driving.

Can you PM a price for a strut and spring (swifts) package? I'm trying to decide between these and a set of coilovers.

truthfully it depends on how much performance you want out of them. I recommend the whiteline because I know they are quality products and their thickness is mild enough for good street performance

Swift makes car specific lowering springs that work on oem shocks and aftermarket shocks like the Yellow. They also make coilover springs which will only work on coilovers. Does that answer your question?

Swift only has 1 set of springs out for the 370 so far, correct?

yes only one. Swift normally makes two different springs, their "Sports Springs" and the Spec-R. For the 370Z they skipped the sports springs and just made Spec-R.

The confusion seems to be in Swift's coilover springs, which are standardized in size for coilovers not the oem or aftermarket shocks

Hey Kami, any specs on the struts?

How do the specs differ from the Koni Yellows for the 350Z?

Koni has yet to release much info on them. From the ones I've sold there seems to be a slight drop (1/4" or so) and stiffer ride. All yellows are regulated so I'd say the yellow on a 370Z should feel similar but a bit better than yellows on a 350z

ZForce 02-16-2012 11:40 PM

Thanks for the feedback.....a bit stiffer...hum. Will be test driving another board members Z with swift springs and Koni yellows purchased from you... To be honest if the combo is anything like the setup I had on the 350Z. - Koni yellows and H&R which was a rough ride for daily driving even with the fronts set at the softest compression. Fingers crossed that swift/Koni provides a smoother DD ride.

I looks like I am installing them on Monday, Mr. ZForce -- I will let you know. How is Hal?

Cool,.,...forgot Monday is a holiday. With the additional drop you may have to conssider front control arms.

Hal is doing well, treatment starts next month. We will deal with anything that is thrown at us. Thanks for asking.
