Fortune Auto assembles all coilovers in the USA at their Powhatan, VA facility and does extensive quality control on all dampers. In addition to tight quality control, Fortune Auto has proven their product on and off the track and their assembly techs ensure that each set of dampers are matched for unparalleled handling and ride comfort. Fortune Auto also offers Swift Springs as an optional upgrade on the 500 and 510 series. The Dreadknaught series comes standard with Swift Springs. All Fortune Auto coilovers use industry standard IP oils from Italy, and can even be ordered in Drag Spec!

For which? The 500 series is the entry level, 510 is mid level, and Dreadknaught is top shelf. The features and differences are above.

The Swift springs that are an option on coilovers are coilover springs, instead of OEM replacement springs like lowering springs are. Coilover springs are different dimensions.


If you're not doing serious track driving I'd actually stay away from the Dreadknaughts because they use an inverted mono tube damper which isn't as compliant as a non-inverted damper and also have a bit more noise associated with them. These issues are totally worth the performance gain, but for a street car that won't be pushed to that limit, I'd stick to the 510 series. If the noise isn't an issue, the Dreadknaught is great!
