**New! H&R Sport Springs--370z

According to Tanabes webpage.. the GF210 springs have a spring rate of 8.8k/9.1k, so 492.8 fronts and 509.6 rears. Do we know what the spring rates are for the H&R

Do we know what the spring rates are for the H&R Sport Springs ? If these really are stiffer than the Tanabes, then im sold...

Default spring rates

I attempted to contact H&R about their spring rates but they said that that information was not available to the public. They mentioned to me that they test their springs differently and so the spring rates they have for their springs would not be comparible to other spring manufacturers. They said it was like comparing apples to oranges.

I'm going to have to give them a call today, because so far I have not been able to find what the spring rates are.

I'll see what I can get out of them, but I have a feeling it is going to be a similar answer to what you received.

Why is this such a well kept secret ? I dont understand why they wouldnt release it to stay competitive with other manufacturers, everyones looking to improve the handling dynamics of their cars when purchasing these, and spring rates are a big reason why they would choose one brand over the other.

I totally agree with you. I'm going to ask them why right now and see what they say.

Well, I just got off the phone with them. They basically said exactly what twotonezed said. They don't publish the spring rates for some unknown reason, and they said that it will improve handling of the vehicle and you will feel more of the road. He would not tell me if it was stiffer or softer than the competitors.

I'm sorry Zeester, I tried!

So no camber kit would be needed? An alignment would be sufficient to get it back to stock specs? Also would it be as low as your guys 370Z?

[QUOTE=Dustin@AEperformance;462206]I personally don't have a pic of the H&R springs on a 370z. I'll look online to try to find some pictures and I'll post them up if I find any.

Regarding the camber, All you'll need is an alignment to get the toe back in spec. I personally like to run some negative camber, it wont be a huge issue with tire wear, and it will help with the handling. Camber isn't what heavliy wears tires, toe being out of spec is.
