As Chris mentioned, it definitely sounds like you're getting unmetered air into the system, and I understand returning it to stock, but easier for us (or anyone) to diagnose with it on.

Did you happen to get the CEL codes from the dealer? Guessing it was a MAF code since they inquired about it.

Simple checklist.. did you use the t-bolt clamps (the thicker ones) at the middle of the intake, and the smaller worm drive traditional clamps at the throttle body? The t-bolt will have difficulty due to how thick they are up there.

Our shop has been very busy lately, it's the balance for guys to figure out if they want to install stuff themselves or just have our guys do it, and lately it's been the latter.

Happy to help and make sure you get taken care of. Let me know what you want to do, just shoot me an email at josh @stillen.com, I'm sure we'll get you squared away.

I know the books might tell you to unplug the sensors, but I've never done this myself as every time I did, it would throw a code, but if I just unbolted them from the intakes and left them plugged in, it never threw a code. Just be very careful with them and don't let them get dinged or fall anywhere and you'll be fine.

Yes it was the MAF sensor that they were reading. I think I know what you are talking about for the t-clamps for the throttle body. But I dont think I used one in the middle... I need a pic to understand the middle part is.

What I actually want to do to is get more parts for my car and let your mechanics install it instead. So next month will be the oil cooler then the High Flow cats. Ill be storing the g2 intake until I have what I want. Thanks Josh. Ill hit you up when Im ready.

Oh it's the Gen 2 intakes, I was assuming it was the Gen 3, which uses two types of clamps in the system. That wouldn't apply to the Gen 2, which has the airboxes and such.

Sure, just let us know, we'd be happy to schedule that with whatever else you're looking at, do it all at once..
