Lol. Have family over there and almost moved. The job was fine moving me. Looked at places to find and home and had an office built but pulled out in the last minute. The PNW is a great place to live imo.

We deemed that by our judgment to be the full process of the catch and at the time he lands and the ball hits the ground it comes loose as it hits the ground, which would make that incomplete. Although he re-possesses it, it does contact the ground when he reaches so the repossession is irrelevant because it was ruled an incomplete pass when he had the ball hit the ground."

Whine about the rule, not the call.
The rule is fine, if he didn't make a football move. He made a football move. He took three steps. THREE. Then lunged for the endzone. That's two football moves, which negates that rule. The referee's botched this call badly and cost us a shot at the NFC Championship.

I don't get how so many of you haters fail to see that he made a football move. Your bias is mind blowing.

I know Steelers, Eagles, Giants, Redskins, Cardinals, etc. fans that agree it was a catch.

I'm a fan, but I am honest and impartial - I'd agree (even if I hated to do so) if it wasn't a catch, but this was a catch. No two ways about it. The NFL officials got it wrong.

And of course the NFL and the head of officials is going to back their ref's shitty call - they can't take another (there were three awful calls this weekend) hit and throw them under the bus. ******* twats.

Aaron Rodgers on one leg will still demolish the Seahawks. Sad, but true. Oh, and rules are rules. It was a great call and even more fantastic challenge by Coach McCarthy. Hopefully the Patriots will advance so the Pack can destroy them for a second time this season.

This rule has been around for a few years now, not sure why all you NFL fans are so confused about the call... anybody remember this?
Here's how Rule 8, Section 1, Article 3, Item 1 reads:

"If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete."

1. Dez Bryant didn't go to the ground in the act of catching the pass. He had completed reception and control before going to the ground.

2. Dez Bryant didn't lose control of the ball until after the ball contacted the ground.

Just being realistic... I don't think GB can beat Seattle. Especially since it's in Seattle, and Aaron Rodgers isn't as mobile with that calf injury. I think Seattle D line is going to contain him and beat him up most of the game.

Yes there are. I understand the ruling on the field, although I can see an argument that he made a football move and demonstrated possession. I don't even disagree with you that he did make a football move. But the simple fact is the rules are not written clear enough to rule in our favor on this one.

I agree with your enthusiasm but remain skeptical. Rodgers is more than capable of having a great game but Sunday will not be a walk in the park. If he's not mobile we have just one more hurdle to overcome. I love the Packers but I will be very anxious come kick off time.

I agree that wasn't a catch. I agree with Karma that promptly came back and bit Dallas in the butt because they shouldn't have been there, Detroit should have. Bad calls are part of the game, when it happens to the opponent it's certainly OK, when it happens to your team people lose their minds. It's a funny double standard.

Yep, WA is by far the best state I've lived in or visited. Prior to living here, I lived in west and central Texas, which wasn't bad. I also lived on the east coast and I was born and raised in central CA.

Here is a couple pictures of when the Seahawks came down to my job site to learn how to drive and operate the Stryker vehicle back in 2008.. ya know, for some PR. I'm on the top left with the face mask on in the first picture, can't remember the 2 players beside me but the guy on the bottom right was Greg Knapp the offensive coordinator.
