Every team I hoped to win this weekend did win.
Up next:
Seahawks - Packers = Seahawks
Colts - Pats = Colts

I predict a very exciting Superbowl between the two.

Damn... even Seahawk fans in Cali now .. I can't stand the Seachickens and I live 30min outside Seattle. But I can see them vs the Pats in the SB.

I was stationed in Everett 2 years ago... And I met more 49ers fans than anything... strange...

Lol. Have family over there and almost moved. The job was fine moving me. Looked at places to find and home and had an office built but pulled out in the last minute. The PNW is a great place to live imo.

Yep, WA is by far the best state I've lived in or visited. Prior to living here, I lived in west and central Texas, which wasn't bad. I also lived on the east coast and I was born and raised in central CA.

Here is a couple pictures of when the Seahawks came down to my job site to learn how to drive and operate the Stryker vehicle back in 2008.. ya know, for some PR. I'm on the top left with the face mask on in the first picture, can't remember the 2 players beside me but the guy on the bottom right was Greg Knapp the offensive coordinator.

**** the Packers. **** Green Bay, **** the NFL, **** the ref's, and **** the replay system.

Also, **** the Pats and Seachickens. My only hope is Indy now. I don't want the Seachickens to repeat, but they can lose the SB. The Packers - I hope their plane crashes, bunch of cheating faggots.

That is all.

/endrant

I still won my four-team parlay though! Baltimore +7 / Dallas +5.5 / Seachickens -11.5 / Indy +7.

I don't. I think it's a BS rule... but the call was correct based off that BS rule.

This rule has been around for a few years now, not sure why all you NFL fans are so confused about the call... anybody remember this?

Here's how Rule 8, Section 1, Article 3, Item 1 reads:

"If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete."

1. Dez Bryant didn't go to the ground in the act of catching the pass. He had completed reception and control before going to the ground.

2. Dez Bryant didn't lose control of the ball until after the ball contacted the ground.

Correct call. Bad rule. Although, I think an argument can be made that he established possession and made a football move by diving for the endzone.

Ground can't cause a fumble. But it can cause an incompletion

Just stupid that you can't demonstrate possession of the ball after a catch unless you run with the ball afterwards. If you catch a ball with outstretched arms and tuck it away into your body before hitting the ground, that is possession. Plain and simple.

Incorrect call. Horrible rule.

The fact that he made a football move (he took three steps and lunged for the endzone) negates any "possession to the ground" call. And the ground cannot cause a fumble, therefore it's a catch and he's down on the one yard line.

******* ********. **** the NFL ******* pieces of ******* ****. **** the Packers and their fans, twats.

So I guess you're more of an expert to the rules than the head of NFL officials

"Although the receiver is possessing the football, he must maintain possession of that football throughout the entire process of the catch. In our judgment he maintained possession but continued to fall and never had another act common to the game. We deemed that by our judgment to be the full process of the catch and at the time he lands and the ball hits the ground it comes loose as it hits the ground, which would make that incomplete. Although he re-possesses it, it does contact the ground when he reaches so the repossession is irrelevant because it was ruled an incomplete pass when he had the ball hit the ground."
-Dean Blandino

Whine about the rule, not the call.

The rule is fine, if he didn't make a football move. He made a football move. He took three steps. THREE. Then lunged for the endzone. That's two football moves, which negates that rule. The referee's botched this call badly and cost us a shot at the NFC Championship.
