You're correct a step/turn is considered a football move, but only if you're not still in the process of the catch. If you don't regain your balance, taking an extra step does not count as a separate football move or act. He was continuing to fall as part of the catch process, despite there being a lunge in there as well. Can't blame the refs. Seriously. You have no argument. The NFL actually used this catch by Calvin Johnson in 2010 as part of an educational video to explain the rules. Fuckin stupid idiots. Hopefully this ridiculous rule screwing Dallas out of a playoff game will finally be enough to get it fixed. |

I agree they should be funny. But where is that a rule? Obviously, people don't want funny any more. Otherwise, there would have been more funny ads  The whole idea of advertising in today's society sickens me. To misrepresent a product in order to maximize sales and profits :shakes head: And the fact that the general public is so predictable that marketing in this fashion actually works is even more sickening. I'll be honest, I fast forwarded through the commercials whenever my wife wasn't watching with me. I hear about the funny ones later and watch them individually. |
They've been "funny" for the last umpteen million years (slight exaggeration).
Everyone at our party wanted funny ads, as did Facebook. :icon17: These stupid athletes keep beating their wives and girlfriends and making it public, so now we have to have ads that bring awareness to when these girls won't shut their mouths kill the good vibe at the Superbowl party. |
And I know you're giving me ****. :icon17: The puppy one was cute, but damn it, I don't want cute!
******* puppies and horses. Feels... :( |

Mountain Dew one before Kickoff was the only one that made me laugh.

Different jokes for different folks :tiphat: I didn't laugh the second time I watched it, must have been that 1 beer buzz I had going. To be honest, most of those commercials were far too serious and that seemed to be the general consensus of everything I've read. Think for once we talked more during the commercials than the game. |
Yeah, we have hardly watched the commercials the past few SB's.
And does anyone actually watch the halftime show? In thirty years, I can't say that I've ever watched a HT show of the SB. |
