I'd like to have him, but I'm not sure how to take his comments-- he wants to come here because he feels he'd play. On the surface, not much to it, but it almost adds credence to Evra's recent remarks.

all it takes is a good Chelsea thumping to revive the thread... Song was beast today. Djourou turned in his performance of the season today. Jack was solid defensively. Clichy was a terror on offense and defense. And most of all, CESC IS BACK!!!!!

anyway, this should basically show wenger that, when TV5 returns, our starting CBs should be Djourou and Vermaelen. Djourou was an absolute BEAST.

The 'Fire Wenger' chants are getting quite loud these days. Can't really blame some of the fanbase. No reason to go berserk and make EIGHT CHANGES to a winning team. Nasri and Walcott should have started, seal the game, then come off at HT or 60 minutes.

Like I said, the Squillaci experiment is a massive failure. I hope that when Vermaelen returns, it's TV5 / Djourou as our main CB pairing, and Koscielny pairing up with whoever is a little more fit. I wish Wenger would really go for Mertesacker, but he's said time and again he's not buying in the January window. Which is ridiculous, IMO.
