Bayern arent arrogant at all. no team in the bundesliga is especially with the deutsche meister curse which is who ever ends up winning the bundesliga, the following year they almost always fight for relegation.. and yes, bayern are yet to face your man city boys but they have faced rossi, nilmar, and valerjo and got a 2-0 AT villareal. your team could barely break down napoli's 3-4-3 with all your "attacking players"
and as a city fan calling any team arrogant makes you a d0uche because ever since man city has tried to buy their way to glory, you all have popped out of no where talking smack about other teams.. here's a reminder on how you suck, check your trophy cabinet... if you guys even have one

The funny thing is how Man City "fans" all claim Bayern to be jealous of them because they have money. LOL. They also call Bayern arrogant. How is Bayern arrogant when Heynckes said "Man City is the best team in Europe" before their match? He is showing respect, even though we all know he doesnt truly belive that. You have Barca putting 9 past Bate at home? Barca are good, but smaller clubs have tested them away from Camp Nou. Remember, Kobenhavn gave them a tough time in Denmark last season, as well as Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine during the last 16th.

As for upsets, I think Basel stun United at home, and Inter fall to CSKA. We will have a difficult match against Valencia in Spain. Valencia are fast, young and dynamic. If AVB doesn't start David Luiz alongside JT, Valencia may tear us apart. I sincerely hope our back four consists of Bosingwa, David Luiz, JT, and Ashley Cole. Ivanovic and Alex will be torched by Soldado, in my opinion.

City have about 22 domestic titles, 14 FA Cups, and 5 European titles to catch up to before they bang on about a club like Bayern being jealous of them.

I can understand confidence, but have some respect and humility. Have respect for your opponent and what they've accomplished throughout their history. We don't like United, but we know what United have been about for the past 20 years. Same with Arsenal, and Liverpool.

There is a chance City can win the match, no doubt about that quality. But Bayern could still have the last laugh if they lift the trophy on their home ground come May. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

I have Barca smacking BATE up, yes. It's a long punt, really, but given what they've done to some teams so far this season, I would not be surprised at such a result. I hope it's a little more competitive than that, however.

Jon - I'm curious what you think of your midfield situation now. Lampard at crossroads? Lampard out? Or is it all media hype, and we'll see him in the team soon?

It seems like AvB is being very cordial, but cautious of the media when they ask about Frank. And...well, honestly, the midfield is rubbish when Lampard is playing right now. His lack of pace is absolutely ruinous when Mata and Torres are trying to link up.

I don't know really. Its hard for me to say that he should be left out of first team play, but at the same time you're right, he's a bit slower than the rest of the midfield. I think AVB will find a way to use him, and I think he may end up playing in more of a holding midfield/deep playmaker role. Players who can launch attacks from deep, like Andrea Pirlo or your Alex Song can be crucial to a teams success. Even Schweinsteiger, who models his play after Lamps, has been used deeper in the heart of Bayern than of previous seasons, where he was almost used as a winger.

I think they can still play a 4-3-3, but you could position Lamps like:
