I like the new away kit. I wish the socks were a solid color, though. I like hooped socks, but not with a hooped jersey. Too much of a good thing.

This can only be good for the game in Scotland:
Rangers relegated to Third Division after vote - ESPN Soccernet Ignoring that the game is generally crap there, it sucks that such a duopoly has had a stranglehold on the league. Hopefully someone can challenge Celtic. That said, I don't really care about the SPL other than thinking the Old Firm Derby is fun-- sucks it won't be played for a few years, aside from a cup tie, perhaps. |

Dont they say the Celtic/Rangers rivalry is bigger than the Redsox/ Yankees rivalry??

Yeah, out of all of them? I like the away kit the most, but thats akin to me choosing how I want to die. God DAMN we look ugly this season. The home Jersey blue band addition is just an excuse to make more money off of people who buy kits year after year. Quote:

I know these days are long gone, but I wish the kits didn't have sponsors. At least it's not like some French (& other leagues' teams) with multiple sponsors across the kit. Didn't they win the cup or something? |

i have some hope that T. Silva will stay, we need at least one TOP player on such a great team. Aside from this what boggles my mind is that they are going to a team that won't win the Champions...don't care how many top class players they have, they will have to work a lot aka Manchester City to become a serious contender....don't Ibra and Silva want to play for a competitive side for that tourny? I know the money is great, especially with Ibra being 30 already.....still *sigh*

That's a start, perhaps.

It would be nice to not have to constantly buy new rolls. I'm nervous about how this sleeve thing would perform-- playing in goal, I dive & slide a lot. Being that I'm wearing pants & gloves, it's hard to adjust shinguards if they get out of position. I wonder whether the sleeve thing would keep things in place. You should try them & let me know. I don't know which I'd buy (if I do). Probably the away considering the home isn't that different from any other year. Or maybe I'd buy both. |
