Villa...I considered...but then again Spain have too many options. Especially if Torres will be healthy by the WC. If not...then yes he is a high possibility.

Reasons I picked Milito and Klose:

Klose is a balanced attacker. He has a sense of where to be at the right times. Not only that, but he is insane when it comes to headers. In 2002, all of his goals were headers. Podolski is good when he throws on a Germany jersey but I see him feeding Klose mostly.

Milito....I dont even need to mention it haha. He is just too good.

Dont get me wrong, Klose is an amazing header of the ball and especially adept at poaching near the goal, but Germany has alot of excellent goal scorers as well, I dunno, we'll see. Milito is amazing as well, but if you watched the Bayern game, notice how every time he gets the ball near the box, he'll pull the ball back and shoot with his right foot, I think well coached teams will know how to defend him. However, his compatriot Messi scores with both feet and makes keepers shit themselves and vomit simultaneously any time he gets the ball inside the 18, lets not count him out either.

Well this will be a new German team. They are definitely known for their attacking...as well as their size and power especially in the midfield. I do like their attack options but I just have a feeling about Klose. I cannot explain it though lol

Yeah I agree on Milito....well...I am STRONGLY disagreeing on that "well coached team" comment. Van Gaal is one of the best coaches out there now. Its just that the CBs are the weak link for Bayern and were exploited. That has nothing to do with their coaching. Bayerns CBs werent able to contain him...end of story. If they had Lucio in there however Milito woulda been shut out. But with the speed of Argentina I just see his ability to score. Look at the 1st goal I believe. Julio Cesar punted up field and 3 touches later the ball was in the back of the net. SPEED lol.

Not counting Messi out....but he is just garbage on Argentina and everyone knows it.

As for RVP.....I think Robben is the only threat to him not having a shot lol. We all know how Robben likes to hold onto the ball.

Okay so I'm still pissed off about the news' unending stream of bullsh*t surrounding Cesc, so kind of irritated. But:

(Arsenal rant)
I'm all for "there is no I in team", but like you said, every player is an important link in the overall chain.

Goalkeeping - don't even get me started with how awful we are here...so let's play dumb here and forget our GKs are ****.

The defensive line, for the better part of the season, was pretty good. Sagna, Gallas, and the Verminator, and bringing Campbell back was quite a surprise. Clichy was **** 90% of the season but looked to recover at the end; sad if he leaves for Barca though. Next year we should be decent if Djourou recovers fully, as does Gibbs. That's assuming replacing Gallas with someone good (read: Hangeland) as well.

The midfield was superb by virtue of the skipper, and Nasri, Song, and Ramsey (pre WTFSHAWCROSSYOUFUCKINGCUNT injury) also deserve praise. Even Abou Diaby, dumbass that he is with no vision whatsoever, made his runs well when they were available. Or he just bulldozed them. Which was fun to watch sometimes.

But Arsenal has LONG been regarded as playing beautiful football, providing excellent setups, but poor finish. Arshavin? Out of position. Bendtner? Head too big to figure out how to make a proper header, and can't seem to finish on chippies. Walcott? All speed, nothing more yet. Eduardo? I'm sorry, but he's done, his confidence in making strong attacks on goal is just gone since his injury. Who does that leave? Vela (rofl), and...yeah, Robin van Persie when he's healthy. Arsenal has NO better target man than RvP.

That's why having RvP healthy is so critical. The forwards just haven't stepped up IMO. So no, he does not MAKE the team, if anybody wants to make a conjecture like that, it's FABREGAS who makes the team. But judging from the bench in the forward position, Robin was really the one quality striker we had, and his presence on the pitch makes a monstrous impact on the game. Hopefully with us adding Chamakh we add a little more quality to the front line though.

Back to WC2010: World Cup 2010 - On-form Germany score 24 - Yahoo! Eurosport

I cracked up at this. That's kind of a douchebag move to score 24, though hahahaah. But is it just me, or is Germany's midfield getting really thin? First Ballack, now Trasch? I guess I'm not familiar enough with them to make any judgment calls.

Also, it sucks for Ghana losing Essien. That's HUGE for their team.

lol @ 24 goals

did anyone see the resurgence of Van der Vaart? that SOB was a f'in stud in the Mexico game, his passes were spot on, his close control was ridiculous, he won every ball he went for, can you imagine? all this with the addition of Sneijder? omgomgomgomgomg

I will however, add one caveat, the dutch defense looked suspect the whole match, I hope that wasnt the lineup that starts in the cup.

I'm going for Spain this time around...and Mexico as an old favorite...:eekdance:
