He paid a lot for his crimes, now let him get on with his life. The whole dogfighting thing cost him almost two years in prison and over 100 million in lost wages and endorsements. I think he deserves a second chance. Human murderers get off easier than him sometimes.

The Letters to the Editor section of the Washington Post has been full of people talking about how Vick is the devil and will alienate fans wherever he goes. I'm glad the guy's got a team... he got railroaded by a society that loves to be morally outraged.

So, the NFL makes a big deal out of not showing commercials that are too racy because they want to present a wholesome image, but then lets this salad tosser back in the game?

This is always on Sports Center...
BORING...
He's in the Eagles now and I think that he'll do well there.
Michael Vick was not only known for his throws but also his movement is crazy!
I bet he's faster than most qbs/cbs/rb

I don't think his skill is the issue.

In my opinion, the most gut wrenching part is that we quickly lost our righteous indignation over the fact that OJ Simpson killed two people, that Donte Stallworth ran someone over, that Roger Clemens was ******* a 15-year-old Mindy McCready, that Don King probably has two homicides to his name, and that Ray Lewis stabbed a guy to death and coerced the witnesses against him not to testify.

All of that is far, far more ****** up than anything that's ever been done to a dog.

I don't think anyone is saying any of those crimes are okay, but it doesn't make dog fighting okay because it's not "people" murder.
