Pride has different rules compared to UFC.
I think that Fedor is afraid of losing his rep. as the #1 Fighter in the world. UFC allows the elbows and kness while Pride does not. He's going to have to re-set his fighting style and learn how to adapt to using the elbows and knees before he signs those papers.
