Denver was daring Brady to throw when it was still close. Only time I've ever seen that work out even close to ok.

They were lucky Brady had an off day. Those receivers were open deep on at least 2 different plays he overthrew.

Yep. Brady was struggling for sure.

I honestly think they game planned for crappy weather and the freak nice day threw Brady off.

DCNISMO 02-02-2014 09:35 PM

What a stinker! I watched the puppy bowl most of the time. At least the dauchcind scored more than the Broncos.

:iagree: I thought the game would have been a lot closer!

b1adesofcha0s 02-03-2014 08:30 AM

I expected Manning to choke, but not that quickly or that hard :icon17:

Chuck33079 02-03-2014 08:34 AM

Honestly, I don't even blame Manning. His recievers weren't getting open and there was no running game. He also had a lot of pressure to deal with. That was just a dominant performance from Seattle's D. I'm really disappointed Seattle won, since it gives their fans a reason to keep talking. Seattle is a great example of a team I would like if their fans weren't obnoxious as hell.

Wasn't manning.

Fox doesn't have the intellectual horsepower to coach at this level. It's obvious if you follow the team but games like the loss to the pats exemplify it well.

At this level, games are about execution more than anything. Good coaches teach rigorous execution and gameplan effectively. Fox hitches himself to manning and rio and hopes for the best

b1adesofcha0s 02-03-2014 10:07 AM

Yeah I know, but I like saying it :icon17:

Denver had the same problem that the Patriots had in the AFC Championship, O line crumbled when they needed it the most.

BOOM!

Haboob 02-03-2014 03:56 PM

I like the result, but this game was so god damn boring.

And it's typical of Superbowls. There hasn't been an exciting one in quite a long time...

Reinforces my point of never wanting to attend a Superbowl. I can imagine the fans that were there... "I paid $4,000-6,000 for this?!"

Drex 02-03-2014 05:15 PM

i may be biased, but i thought the 2011 gmen/pats superbowl was pretty exciting. that was only 2 superbowls ago. before that the 2008 pitt/zona and 2007 gmen/pats came down the wire and were exciting imo. :tiphat:

i was really hoping for a good game yesterday. between the game and the crappy commercials, it was a pretty shitty superbowl. :icon14:

b1adesofcha0s 02-03-2014 05:50 PM

Well last year's Super Bowl was exciting at the end once the 49ers actually got close to the Ravens.

Talk like this is what makes real Seachickens fans look bad. :gtfo2:

I know its a little late, but there has been a lot of negativity in general towards Seattle. Which is where that comment stemmed from originally. I appologize it was out of line and I wasn't referring to anyone on here. It just seemed to be the general consensus outside of the PNW, but thats just my perspective. Most of the negative comments originated from niner fans, and people who account Seahawks success to the stadium, and not the team who played in it. That being said I was really hoping for a good game.. My wife is a die hard Broncos fan living in the PNW. I wasn't sure going in who would win, but I believed it would be close. I don't think anyone saw this coming like has already been stated. The last part of the game was boring, and thats coming from a Hawks fan... The win was amazing and it serves to show the teams skills, and that it's not just our stadium. All I gotta say is its a bummer for Peyton but it REALLY sucks to be Maywhether right now a cool 10.4 mil gone.. lol. Not sure what was meant by a real "Seachickens fan", but I'm 34 and have lived here my whole life. I remember the Kingdoms days of Chuck Knox, Steve Raibel, Brian Bosworth, and Cortez Kennedy to name a few.. Pretty sure I'm no Johnny come lately bandwagon fan, however everyone has to start as a fan somewhere

I'd rather it be my team (and winning), a team I hate (and losing), or two teams I don't really have any hate/love for and just a good game.

The Pat/NYG Superbowls... I hate both teams with a passion and was rooting for the stadium to collapse and end them all.

I hate Pitt and Arizona as well, so I was hoping for that stadium to collapse too.

Last year... I hate SF and hate how some people think Flacco is elite, so it was meh, but I was also in Vegas and there wasn't any excitement there (I don't drink, so I didn't do a $200/person party). The atmosphere killed last years SB for me.

I'm a broncs fan and bummed as can be, but I take solace in the fact that you guys have something to rub in SF's face.
