If DEN stays healthy I think this could be a big season.

Would be great to do another set of back-to-back SBs with an ugly old QB on the way out.

Brady vs Manning in the AFC championship, I would love that. Seemed like we were gonna see it happen last year, but maybe it will happen this year.

:iagree: the good ol' elway days!

but 32-37 (86.48%)completion rate P. Manning

b1adesofcha0s 09-24-2013 08:33 AM

Lets see him do the same with the Patriots current receiving core :icon17:

yeah, he wasn't quite on his game

I think the most impressive thing is that they're maintaining a decent balance 60/40 pass/run respectively. That's right in the middle of the pack.

It's easy to run when they're running nickel against a 1WR set.

LMBmikeZ 09-24-2013 06:00 PM

:icon18: so true!

LMBmikeZ 09-29-2013 12:45 PM

no football talk in here for a while :ugh2:

some good early games so far, I have been flipping back and forth between a few....

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 03:44 PM

Seahawks had a nice comeback.

Eh, I put that squarely on Schaub's shoulders for the ******* bonehead pick 6 in the fourth quarter. That, and the idiot suplexing Tate so SEA can get in field goal range.

Xplicit97 09-29-2013 03:52 PM

Anyone still doubt them Hawks?

I do. They were shut down until Schaub's decided to gift them a pick 6. That wasn't a comeback, that was a total collapse.

the way they are winning makes me doubt them

Red__Zed 09-29-2013 04:18 PM

Wowwwwww

Xplicit97 09-29-2013 05:17 PM

I guess haters are going to hate.. I will agree they played **** ball in the first half but they brought their A game in the second. I guess the hawks will never get any respect outside of seattle until we shut everyone up when were at the super bowl again.. How many games do we need to win before we get some respect? All I hear is people complaining that their team played **** ball that's why we won. . At some point its about being a good team and not that the other team played like ****. I guess every team we play just plays horrible when they play the hawks. Funny I thought that's what makes a team good.. playing better than the opposing team... 12th man for life here

Really? Pretty much all analysts have Seattle in the top 3 teams in the league. I think they are the best team in the NFC. Maybe I'm missing where they aren't getting any respect.

They get tons of hype. Seattle fans want 24/7 coverage on espn.

Xplicit97 09-29-2013 06:08 PM

It just seems that whenever they win its never "they played great ball" or "they're a great team" the justifications for their wins are always either well they won at home and its the stadium or the other team played horrible etc.. I just feel they are underestimated. This thread is proof of the mentality.

They're a damn good team. They just squeaked by today because they got lucky and the opposing team had something called a Schaub at quarterback, and he gave the game away at the end of the 4th.

They're a powerhouse that rarely plays to their fullest.

I love the hawks but they spend more time fighting themselves than their opponents.

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 06:22 PM

I like the Seahawks too. Maybe they will gwt more respect once they get more success in the playoffs. If they can get Percy Harvin healthy and in sync by then, they will be scary good.

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 06:25 PM

Right now it looks like the Broncos and Seahawks are on their way to a Super Bowl with no one able to stop them.

Xplicit97 09-29-2013 06:43 PM

Schaub looked a lil scared at the end like he had basically given up

That's what happens when he senses pressure. Coming up small in all the big moments.

Xplicit97 09-29-2013 06:46 PM

Broncos and Seahawks would be a dangerous combination in this house. I'm a Hawks fan obviously and the wife (originally from Denver) is a Broncos fan. She's a hawks fan when were not playing Denver though..lol

Patriots vs Falcons will be a good game. Pats' first test against a really good team. I think we will move to 4-0.

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 07:44 PM

Vilfork got carted off with a foot injury. That's a big one for our defense.

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 08:00 PM

What a cheap shot. Falcons are trying to take out our only reliable receiver any way they can.

Denver is playing sloppy. I'm worried about how they'll play when others start to tighten up.

I want to see Denver play against a good team. Their schedule is super soft. I think their best tests will probably be Colts, Pats, and Chiefs. Pats similarly are getting battle tested tonight and the next 2 weeks (Bengals then Saints). Should hopefully have Amendola and Gronk back after that.

b1adesofcha0s 09-29-2013 08:12 PM

Like Belichick always says, real football doesn't start until Thanksgiving.

LMBmikeZ 09-29-2013 08:37 PM

Denver put quite a whooping on Philly today

LMBmikeZ 09-29-2013 08:40 PM

bet there was not many people who thought Buffalo would beat Baltimore :rofl2:
