The k2 moto 90 was voted best fitness skates, the rollerblade astro 50 was voted best budget/beginner skate.

I stopped inline skating when I found out I actually WASN'T gay after all. I kid. I kid.

The skates posted are good but you really need to know what kind of skating you'll be doing first. Smooth rink style only? Stunt? Street?

Stunt? He's never skated before. That wouldn't end well :roflpuke2:

My pics are for someone looking to street skate to stay in shape.

We have this park by my house with a 3.5 mile black top path around it, that or mainly in my subdivision.Stunt, it will probably look like i'm stunting.

I use to skate all of the time for about 5yrs I loved Razors that was the brand I liked the best.... I was thinking of getting back into it but It looks like most of the buisnesses have gone under.

^ I have 2 pairs of Razors for my aggressive needs and I only rock Missions for my street hockey needs. Both of which I'm sure you do not want. Not too knowledgeable on just straight up recreational skates however. Sorry mayne

Tell me about it, i looked everywhere, there are two places i found skates, sports authority and a hockey store. The hockey store has really nice skates, but the salesmen said they are really not ment for anything but roller hockey, something about the shoe and the wheels. Sports authority has k2's which didn't look too bad, i just want a good quality skate and don't mind paying for it. Everybody says check on-line, i want to try them on before buying

frost 08-28-2009 11:30 PM

I had a lot of luck with k2s. Very good quality.

StLRedrider 08-28-2009 11:32 PM

i most likely will get those, i still think i'm going to kill myself on them. Would i look funny in a chest protector and a motorcross helmet

frost 08-28-2009 11:34 PM

Only thing I really needed was wrist guards. When I fall, it's always on my wrists.

StLRedrider 08-28-2009 11:35 PM

i'm thinking my *** or my knee's

frost 08-28-2009 11:39 PM

I fell on my knee just one time, but that one messed it up for life. My knee looks like the knee of a burn victim

StLRedrider 08-28-2009 11:45 PM

Damn that sucks, racing motorcross it seemed like i always was landing on my knees or slipping off the pegs and ripping the **** out of them
