I don't know if anyone else watched the Strikeforce event the other night but it was actually pretty good (aside from the terrible announcers and cheesy fire). Nick Diaz once again shows that weak looking punches can add up and tear people down. Overall a pretty good event.

cant say im a nick diaz fan. dude it talanted but something about him rubs me the wrong way.... i was pulling for smith because the dude really leaves it all in the ring but i was like jesus christ man BLOCK or do something poor guy took about 300 of those tip tap punches while looking for one haymaker shot

I had to shed a tear when Arlovski went down. It seems that all the greats are growing old and losing it. Oh well, things progress.

I was surprised that Andrei "The Glass-Jaw" Arlovski didn't K.O. himself with the friction from removing his T-shirt.

Arlovski glass jaw? If his is glass how would you define James Thompson? That guy goes out if you look at him funny.

Of all the fighters out there, you consider Nick Diaz as your hero? I mean I understand you don't consider him as the best fighter but c'mon, there's a reason why sherdog.com has a train dedicated to just hate the Diaz brothers. :/

I dislike the brother Dias very much and always root for them to loose, but Nick is a very good fighter and for the most part I like the way he fights. I just hate his Stockton gang banger attitude.

I'm actually kidding about him being my hero, I just love to watch him fight. The whole gangsta thing kills it for me on both of these guys but he is just hilarious to watch. The way he talks the whole time is crazy and I know it's got to get in people's heads. You can't help but lose focus of your game plan and want to smash the guy. It's great entertainment.

I like the Diaz brothers. But I do hate the whole G-thing, despite having an encyclopedic knowledge of 90s hip-hop, too.

This is why people like Nick: One of the few successful Gogoplatas in MMA history.
