2012 NHL Playoffs

Anybody watching the playoffs around here???? Can't believe we don't have a thread yet...

A quick update on the first round
Blues and Coyotes can both clinch tonight (3-1). The other series are all tied at 2 games a piece. Nashville has already advanced to round 2 after beating Detroit 4 games to 1.

Any predictions for tonight? We have 5 games on today...

All I can say is Phoenix and Nashville? WTF???? I guess I haven't followed the west this year at all.

Record number of players suspeneded already too?

The physical play is great - it's part of playoff hockey. but the crap after the whistle has to go. I've never seen anything like this. People are getting cross-checked in the face (while on their knees), punched in the back of the head, checked from behind, 2-handed slashes...

I was thinking of starting a thread like this too, but I'm so pissed off at Vancouver I can't see straight. The remote has almost gone through the TV a few times. Kinda in denial now. Gonna start following Nashville!

That Bruins/Caps game was a good one! I am a certified Caps hater though so I have to root for Boston by default.

Nashville vs. Fla for the cup? Sounds pretty shitty to me.

Yeah it was definitely one of the better series I've seen. I was really hoping the bruins would keep the game 7 streak going but the Caps definitely looked like they wanted it more, I'll give them that
