Flacco has shown before that he can play at a super elite level, his problem was always consistency. As good as he plays in some plays, he can be equally as terrible in others.

well I mean thats really the key then.

I mean Vick's had games where you could have said he played better than almost any QB out there.

Flynn had that ridiculous 6TD game lol.

His consistency in playoff games is what really earned him a big time contract.

without that, he was still looking at an extension but just not as much. im sure there were times during the season in which Joe's agent called flacco and was just like " hey dude... hey look, we turned down a contract off and wanted to play this season out so you can get more money..... right now, your doing the opposite of what we planned when we said that earlier this year! the money is shrinking! not growing! the objective is to play better, so that we can get a BETTER deal than they originally offered!" lol

I was stationed in New York for the Miracle at New meadowlands. Being a cowboys fan surrounded by giants fans.....it was glorious....even if it was the eagles

But I remember seeing that game and thinking Vick was in philly to stay.
