This is true, which is why I've said again and again, I'm not mad at the Hawks. It's not like they cheated. I'm mad at the bad officiating, due to the NFL and the Referee union. Every team has been given the advantage of a few bad calls, but there is a scale to each bad call. Neither of these bad calls should have happened. Even if GB doesn't get the good call, they may have taken the lead on that drive, or the may not have. We don't get to speculate, because the game is tainted by undertrained personnel.

Those of us in Seattle still remember being robbed in Superbowl XL.. Steelers told us to suck it up and deal with it. So sorry Greenbay and your fans.. It's your turn to suck it up put your big girl panties on and deal with it.. That being said I'm pretty sure the "12th man" wouldn't of allowed that call to go against them.. Just be glad it wasn't a bowl game people

Ah, the old "sink down to their level" defense. Classic.

Without that their drive would have stalled and them punted.

So Seattle would not have even needed this hailmary play to win.

The problem is you don't KNOW that the drive would have stalled. Unless it was 3rd down, in which I retract that statement. Green bay was moving the ball in the second half. That call didn't directly affect the outcome the same way the call on the final play did.

And what about the pass interference on Sydney Rice that was actually called on the packers player? Rice was jumping over the guy, all over his back, and they call PI on the packer DB, who had his head turned for a good 5 seconds and was playing the ball. That was garbage, and forced a punt I think?

It was 3rd down iirc, but nothing in the rulebook says they can't go for it on 4th.

Moral of the story, get the real refs back. The game is suffering badly and it needs to be fixed.

Exactly. I mean GB already has a fake punt/FG for a TD this season.

thats my point.. there are alot of calls that would have directly changed the game.

If the call for PI wasnt given to the packers, their drive would have stalled (3rd down)

If the call for PI wasnt given to the seahawks, their drive would have stalled and they would have lost earlier.

etc..

So many bad calls changed the game that this one final call wasnt the one that decided the game per say. Everything that happens DURING the game, decides the outcome of the game.

With different calls in the game it could have been 34-10 packers leading and then the last touchdown would have made it 34-17 (theoretical)

Fact is, daisuke and all of Steeler Nation could probably be shouting the loudest. In the last two weeks, two of the most egregious calls/non-calls happened against Pittsburgh, and I say that hating their living guts.

You had the PI call where the Steelers CB was clearly nowhere near the receiver, and this last week you had the missed call on the dangerous chop block that could have seriously injured a Steelers lineman. Of course, the non-call on the helmet-to-helmet hit on Darrius Heyward-Bey was also horrendous, but still.
