I'm surprised they didn't try to make him into a RB/TE since they weren't really using him for much else.

I'm not. Rex Ryan is a defensive coach, he has no idea how to properly build or run an offense.

Reports saying that Jets may look to trade Sanchez in the off season. One name that's coming up as a possible replacement is Michael Vick. He said he would go to the Jets if Sanchez was gone.
