Second, I look at the thunder and see they are thirsty. They have the fire and passion and need for the championship. Sadly my bulls didn't show that at all this postseason, even before the unspeakable happened. The thunder are thirsty. They are playing at the top of their if not higher, that proverbial 110%, and they are playing as a team. They seem unstoppable.

And lebron has always kinda douchey.

to be fair, they were cruising until thibs left drose out to dry...

I don't think thibs was at fault at all. Drose wanted to finish the game. Also rose's injury would not have been prevented even if thibs sat him. That type of injury happens from a build up of stress, So it could have happened in the opening minutes of game two.

No one is really at fault here. Just an unfortunate thing To happen.

The only problem is he seems to only choose when he wants to dominate a game. That is his flaw. His will to win. He never seems overly upset that he loses, just like last year in the finals he was complacent. He lacks the fire and drive of a winner which is what is ultimately robbing him of getting a championship. Or all that could be BS and the Thunder are just that good. I like to think its a combination of both.

Honestly, I thought the were bulls seemed a little too relaxed in game 1. They didn't have the thirst that I see in the thunder. and saw in the spurs. Boozer needs to go. He isn't East material.

Question, who would you replace boozer with? or rip?

No one, he can just leave and we need to get in return a decent pf for bench, and 2 good bench players....6th Man types. Start Taj (he earned it in the playoffs ...he played with more heart than anybody)

:shakes head: #'s don't mean much. Jordan average like 35 points a game, so what? numbers are good for sports center guys to talk about, numbers are good for awards and accolades (most blocks, most points, most 3's, etc). "King" titles do not belong to guys who can score a bunch or can win a lot of mvps, they belong to championship winners, until he wins he is a prince -simple as that. The team that wins the ship becomes the kings of the hill, and their best player becomes THE king (finals mvp).

Tonight was Good game by heat, even though they almost lost it. still anybody's series.

i didn't say "anything", i said "much" as a person who looks at numbers/data for a living I can say numbers can be manipulated to show certain things and they should be taken with a grain of salt. For example I can say my z has 1000 hp (it doesn't) bigger number than most if not all on this forum, but if I have stock suspension, with stock exhaust, with stock wheels and tires and stock tranny :eekdance: that 1000hp number "doesn't mean much"

nmjaxx9 06-14-2012 11:54 PM

LOL okay so then getting a ring shouldn't be weighed so much should it?? Or wait in this case it seems to be weighed so greatly.:bowrofl:

I get your analogy, but you can't say that numbers dont mean anything or wait "much", without numbers you techincally have no game....lol...no scores, no stats, which basically means you don't have player profiles, their career records, etc when they retire. to say numbers don't matter much is like saying in a game of who can get to the quarter mile the fastest that the clock doesnt really matter. :bowrofl:

Bad use of words....anyways for your previous statement I say he is the KING not becasuse of a title remember that an NBA title is a TEAM effort not a one man effort there is no I in team. Therefore, how else do you rate an indvdual player? Well by his numbers, plain and simple, right now I say he is the KING because no other player right now is putting up the kind of numbers he is right now....oh but numbers dont matter much, so what does then?? his hairline?? :ugh2::roflpuke2:

His hairline doesn't exist, somewhere way too far north :D

You are correct his number are best in the lleague at the moment but for me he isn't king because I personally have no respect for him. I think he's arrogant and spoiled. And like others mentioned he seems to play with lack if heart. If he wanted it.more he could be greatest ever. But he will not be that. He will be greatest of his generation, and probably top 20 all time maybe top 10 but there are deserving guys there too.

Which reminds another reason you can't just look at numbers... the game is constantly changing. That's why you. Can't compare lebron to players if 80s/90s, and players of 80s/90s can't be compare to players of 60s. For that reason he wont be better all time then say Jordan, wilt, magic, bird, Kareem, and other greats.

It isn't just about numbers...he will be measured in the end by how many rings he got as well. Just ask Karl Malone with John Stockton, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller...etc. They put up #'s but in the end they couldn't get the job done. While on paper they all look great but everyone will remember they couldn't bring home the championship.

The other side of that...the Jordans, the Kobes, the Magics...etc. They delivered. These guys were fun to watch. What made MJ so great it? Was it the dunk from the free throw. Was it the spectacular shots he made when it looked impossible. Or was it him nailing the dagger with time running out to seal the deal on the Championship. That is the will of a Champion.

While the Heat and Lebron came out fierce last night and kept the hammer down long enough to escape with the win. They have shown they are capable of doing this. Lebron is capable. The issue is they cant do it for the 4 out of 7 games needed before the opposing team is able to. The Thunder start slow something they need to fix. Lebron needs to prove he is capable of taking over a series. Keep putting up his numbers. But when it gets tight int he 4th and Durant, Westbrook, and Harden are catching fire. This is where they crumble when the game is on the line. Lebron and the Heat do not step up. If he is going to do it and get at least 1 of those not 6, not 7, not 8...rings then this is the year. Kevin Durant and the Thunder are not going anywhere.
