Its not about Fisher, more than it is about the whole Lakers organization, even Kobe stated:
Quote:

I think other owners did not want the Lakers to make significant improvements again," Bryant said after practice Thursday, hours before Paul's introductory news conference with the Los Angeles Clippers, less than five miles across town.

"We always contended as players that the lockout was really more so about the owners fighting amongst themselves, which is what you just saw [with the vetoed trade]," Bryant said. "You got Chris Paul coming here and the other owners weren't with that, because you don't want another great player coming to L.A., and all of the sudden Los Angeles has another player that can carry them on well after I retire. "
More than likely someone will catch on to Sterns ********, there is no way you can deny that he had an alternate motive behind the trade cancellation, if he didn't he would have let the trade go, I mean K-mart, Scola, Dragic, and a 2012 1st round pick were up for grabs for CP. That sounds like more than fair deal on the Hornets side, especially for one shooting guard. So why cancel an actual beneficial trade for the hornets??

TerribleONE 12-22-2011 11:46 AM

LOL at miami.. Lebron will go another year without a ring just watch..

nmjaxx9 12-22-2011 11:52 AM

Well a injured wrist, losing their forward, not getting CP, Kobes wife divorcing him...things arent looking to good for the Lakers. So forget a ring for Kobe.

Now the clippers on the other hand might have a chance. CP and Griffy were unstoppable in the preseason opener. I have high hopes for the Clippers this season.

phelan 12-22-2011 11:57 AM

two words: clippers curse.
