Main card
Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida People are already writing this bout off as the most boring fight ever but I think it's got great potential. I'm not a huge fan of either of them but I'm rooting just a tad bit more for Sugar. Welterweight bout: Matt Hughes vs. Matt Serra Hughes has been one of my favorite fighter since my early UFC watching days and it's sad to see him on decline following Chuck's path. Anyways he shouldn't have much problem taking care one hit wonder Serra to resurrect his career. Middleweight bout: James Irvin vs. Drew McFedries How McFedries made the main card is beyond me, Irvin takes it in first round. Middleweight bout: Yushin Okami vs. Dan Miller Okami is no doubt the best MW fighter that hasn't got a chance with Silva due to injuries what not. Unfortunately for Dan, this will be his first big fight and I don't think he has a chance at all. Lightweight bout: Sean Sherk vs. Frank Edgar I'm not a big fan of either fighter but I'll pick Sherk over Edgar just from his sheer size and experience in the octagon. |

i think evans is gonna catch him. yes machida looked great last event but he also does alot of avoidance and dancing. evans has such a good wrestling background he can tie him up and get close and set up a KO shot
in the battle of the matts i pick serra also please god let poor houston alexander win |

Sigh Okami is out vs Brad Miller. I really feel bad for this guy since he's the only guy that can give Anderson Silva a run for his money in MW(other than Akiyama) but he seems to get injured in the worst possible time.

yup
i know rampage is next in line and i love the guy but thats a HORRIBLE matchup. he would have a even worse time getting to machida than evans did and evans barely touched him. forrest is busy with silva and silva wont move up and fight machida so out of the out of the 205 guys in the title hunt id have to say shogun might be next just based on style match up |

yup, im not a big shogun fan but he got a little traction after that KO over silva. i do think rampage is next though.. his only change his to catch machida with 1 shot. but hell he couldnt even close the distance with forrest and all forrest did was the same leg kick over and over. machida could be champ for a good while
