if anyone is looking for a new board for the upcoming season check out Lib tech/ gnu they have mange traction and banana tech which gives you better bite in ice but still kicks *** in fresh pow

I was never really a fan of Gnu. I have always rode Forum or Burton. My current mode of transportation is a 151 Forum JP Walker (Couple of yers old).

.

do yourself a favor read up this mange traction is the real deal it puts 5 more contact points on each side. I work at a ski shop and I can't keep them in. burton sales are in the tubes. The banana tech puts a sick rocker on the board to carve nicer it's surfing technology on a snowboard this is the future of snowboarding

Lib-tech.com. Lib tech makes gnu I'd stick with lib tech if you do get it with btx you need to go 3cm smaller then you normaly ride

All I rode for years was Burton. Went through 2 customs and a Baron. Last year went for something different, hit up a Nitro Pantera W.
Absolutely amazing.
the burton customs lately have been having problems with top coats peeling. Honestly, burton? get your **** together!
Sticking with the P1 carbons, but I think I'm done with the burton boards!

I do like new tech and the Banana Tech sounds awesome. Don't have much ice and crud out here on the Colorado ski slopes, luckily. I ride a K2 Eldo 162, super long, it just rails! K2 Formula bindings and Boa boots. I'd like a slightly shorter board for bumps and trees though... have to keep Lib Tech in mind for sure!

it was magne tracton....simple way to think of it is waves on the sides of the board to give you a better edge and more bite in ice
