Whey protein... what to buy?
What do you guys recommend and where should I be buying it?
I've bought the regular optimum whey protein before but that was a while ago. Now prices for whey protein are literally doubled since then... Are there any other cheaper source that I don't know about? I mean, the last time I bought a 5 pound bottle, it cost around 30 dollars for it. Now it is close to 60... |

check out places like tfsupplements and prosource.net online. Don't go to overpriced places like bodybuilding .com and GNC.
Try Gaspari's Myofusion. Great taste with healthy fats. I wouldn't pay more then 40 for whey. I wouldn't pay less then 30 either. You get what you pay for really. Just please don't go to GNC. When you see the prices at the places I mentioned you'll get it.

I would NEVER buy from GNC. I walked in for 5 seconds and walked out because of the prices...
Also, thanks for the recommendations. The prices aren't too bad but still much cheaper than other places. |

Since you are price shopping try supplementwarehouse.com. I've never had any probs with shipping and you can price-match right from their website. Once you go there, you'll see.

Great selection there but I just looked up most of the things I buy and there all more expensive here, so not that cheap but great selection.

ON for sure, I can't drink anything else.
I don't feel bodybuilding.com is overpriced. They're within a 2-3 dollars usually if other sites, sometimes cheaper and the customer service/ship times make that value worth it. |

It depends on what you're trying to do as well, are you looking to pack on mass? I've added 30 lbs of muscle in 5 months using Rebuilt Mass.
sh1ts expensive but it works, I usually go buy it on gold card week or when they have a buy one get one 50% off. GNC Beyond RAW™ Re-Built Mass - Chocolate Brownie - RAW HARDCORE - GNC

Optimum Nutrition WheyGold is what I use. It's one of the best and most popular out there. I usually buy from fitrx.com because of the free shipping, and they throw in sample packs of other stuff when you buy a certain amount.

I wouldn't trust the 'cheap' stuff seeing that the Chinese like to knock off everything under the sun. Hell, they use powdered drywall and street paint to make counterfeit pharmaceuticals.
Trust the brand names and the big companies if you want quality stuff. ON and Syntha are really good when it comes to quality.

A nutritionist told me that there is no point getting the expensive whey proteins because when it comes down to it, most of them uses the same stuff. |
