man all this talk of ravens redskins etc etc.

lets all face it. Redskins, cleveland, Carolina, etc have a very good purpose in the league. It lets fans of better teams watch their team play live cus the tickets are easily available :p

^ I was thinking the same thing. He doesn't live here, so he doesn't know. Despite the poor form, the Skins still have some of the strongest support in all the NFL. It is still the 3rd wealthiest sports franchise in the world, behind Manchester United and the Dallas Cowboys.

I know. I went to watch the broncos get beat by them 2 years ago, and despite the season the skins were having, it was a PITA to find decent tickets.

daisuke149 04-27-2011 09:31 AM

hrmm ive been able to find good tickets fairly easily, but i onyl checked twice when i knew i might be up in that area.

(atm, i mostly look for tickets in TN or Carolina or JAX <--- super easy to get)

I never put much into lists or power rankings. It's all hype.

That goes for Kiper and McShay's six million weekly mock drafts, too. It's all irrelevant.

Not doubting you, but Im surprised that the Skins are wealthier than the Yankees?

Jon@AAMComp 04-27-2011 02:49 PM

^You're right, they've leap frogged us to 3rd place behind United and Dallas. But still, at 4th place, its remarkable when you consider the team hasn't won the Super Bowl for over 15 years. The team still ranks higher than the Lakers, Patriots and FC Barcelona.

Draft is tonight! Will the Panthers take Cam Newton at Number 1??

Red__Zed 04-28-2011 03:22 PM

Draft should be interesting tonight. A lot more uncertainty than usual.

I feel like they would be silly to do this. Dont they have Jimmy Clausen and Brady Quinn? Not that Im a believer in either of those guys, but I dont think Cam Newton will turn that franchise around with the pieces currently in place. They can use the pick to strengthen a different position.
