Here's my take in it though

If the colts get the first pick they should trade or pick someone else

if MIA gets the first pick then they should take Luck

No matter who is picked first the contract is pretty much deteined by last years first pick. I just can't see a team paying that kind of money to a player who isn't going to start right away. As long as Manning is in IND Luck will not start and I'd don't want to see a replay of the farve situation happen with manning claiming retirement every year.

I think MIA will try and start Luck and we will see if he is good enough for the league or not.

Or they can pick Luck and then try to trade him to a team that's really desparate for a new QB later on in the season. :icon17:

Redskins could use a new team.

b1adesofcha0s 11-03-2011 07:59 AM

Patriots desperately need a decent pass rush if they want any hope of winning the Super Bowl.

m4a1mustang 11-03-2011 07:59 AM

Good luck with that.

I've already accepted being consistently disappointed with the Redskins season after season. :bowrofl:

I should have started being a Patriots fan back when they were winning Super Bowls. At least I started after they lost to the Giants in their last one :icon17:

If they didn't do so damn good last year they would still be considered to be in a "rebuilding phase".

Lemers 11-03-2011 08:25 AM

The cowboys née to admit that they need to start a rebuilding phase. But they want to claim that they are a superbowl team every year.

49erZ 11-03-2011 11:55 AM

The money paid to first round picks is maybe half of what it used to be. So much that if the St Louis laambs were to get the pick they might take luck and trade away their 2nd year more expensive pick. Colts have to take Luck, they dont know what manning got and if he comes back and sucks his trade value goes down.

dennis26 11-05-2011 12:23 PM

Colts could really use Luck. I think he is for real. They may have to trade Manning though, I don't see him wanting to be a mentor to his future replacement.

:iagree:

Agreed and if they're in position to get the #1 pick they dont let him play this year and drop his value. Trade him after the SB and before the draft. If Carson palmer fetched 2 #1 picks imagine what Manning would cost?
