I think the best thing for Jones would be to do what they did with Anderson Silva. Keep him as LHW champ, but give him a few test fights at HW to see how he does. If he does good, they can start thinking about moving him up. If not, he can stay at LHW and continue being the champ.

I don't think he's quite as unbeatable as I used to think. I think it's more about having the right strategy to beat him. Machida might have done it if he didn't lose all that blood from that elbow. I think Shogun has the ability to do it as well if he's at his best. He'd have to use a lot of his leg kicks to slow down Jones and make it easier to get him into striking range.
