Wow! KO of the year?
|
Just saw the highlights of that fight, damn that was a beautiful KO!

Was watching it live. Amazing KO

i would like to see Le fight the winner of belfot / bisping unless thats a title contender or maybe even brian stann something in that range
if he was 5-6 years younger and had started MMA eariler in his career i would like to have seen him fight silva but not now. i like the guy but anyone who had is face rearranged by 40% wanderlei is only gonna go so far. i hated it for rich but this does put a nice stamp on Le's career. i mean breaking a spent frank shamrocks arm and getting a revenge KO because you were showing off against scott smith the first time didnt quite cut it.. this was is most legitimate accomplishment in the cage so good for him he seems like a great dude a fanboy fight would be him vs machida and that might be unlikely but i read machida wanted to maybe go to 185 and i think he would have to loose to henderson for that to be a possibility as a win would get him back in the 205 title "mix" |
I want to see the Belfort/Bisping winner fight the Weidman/Boetsch winner to determine who gets the next shot at the middleweight title. I'm ready to see Silva walk up to GSP (if he beats Condit) and challenge him to a fight.

I just decided to make the 4-5 hour drive to Montreal so I can watch UFC 154 with some friends.
The UFC has really dropped the ball for this event, nobody under 18 permitted to enter weigh-ins, the location for weigh-ins is horrible in relation to the hotels and Bell Centre, Dana White admitting to over pricing tickets, and a so-so card. Because of this I will actually be able to get tickets cheap. The party before and after the fights are usually better than the fights themselves. I am also preparing for an all out riot if GSP loses. Those french people are crazy! lol I think Condit has a really good chance to beat GSP as long as if they both come to fight. |
IMO Condit has no chance at all. He's not that great. GSP will run threw him and pick him apart.
|
ive only been to two UFC events and they were pretty good but i can see it varying by location
yeah condit has a good chance no doubt. especailly with the unknown of how GSP can come back from a 18 month layoff. i think if it goes the distance then it will be all GSP as condit wont be able to stick to that in and our game plan he had with diaz. If he wants to win he needs to use that power he showed against hardy and stun gun and catch GSP. But GSP is so damn good at controlling a fight and minimizing danger it could on paper be a boring fight. i love the guy but his last few have been really lack luster dominations with shields koscheck and hardy. he hasnt finished anyone since like 07 right? i know penn didnt come out of his corner so i guess that counts but i dunno i want to see a good fight but these guys are so calculated its hard to say it will be an all out war also i agree card is a bit weak otherwise kappman hendricks is ok i mean it could headline a fuel card or something so i will take it on a related note anyone see they are adding overeem bigfoot to the feb 2 card.. will be a nice tune up for the reem before he smashes the winner of jds cain lol |
I think Condit has a legit shot at beating GSP. We still don't know how he will be coming off that injury and if he really does try to change up his style and try to finish the fight more, he may be more susceptible to getting caught with a good punch. Though if that happens, I can see him quickly reverting back to his old style.
Do you really think Overeem would smash JDS or Velasquez? I've really only seen his fight with Lesnar, but I think JDS at least should be able to take care of him. |
