Dallas is a good team but the Lakers biggest opponent is themselves.

Also - defense on Dirk. There's no defending that "HOLY F*KING SH*T HOW DID THAT SHOT JUST GO IN" one-legged top of the key jumpshot over Pau. I had to blink a few times and rewatch that, it was just stupid. STUPID. Overall, however, Pau can't guard him. At all. Lamar needs to step up big time in this matchup because he's the only one that seems to have a snowball's chance in hell of stopping Dirk.

I watched the game yesterday, and honestly, the Lakers never got out of second gear. Or first gear, for that matter. MOTM (lol soccer term) goes to Bynum for 18 pts and 13 rebs and helping the Lakers NOT get blown the f*ck out on their home court.

Wais - how can they work an inside-out game when Gasoft misses chippies all day long haha. Bynum is a pure power game which is supposed to balance out Gasol, but it's not working right now, they crowd the Kid and leave Gasol out to shoot a lame shot from 16.

Oh, btw? Stay classy Los Angeles. Way to SUPPORT your team.

At least we don't boo our team off the court at the Rose Garden. We just...get a lil' quieter. Case in point - 23 pts down to the SAME MAVS WHO ARE TRASHING YOU GUYS.

As a Laker fan I must say we had a good run. Time to re load this off season, assuming the new CBA gets resolved and there isn't no lock out.

No ****!?!? could it be your inconsistency as a dominant 7 footer!!! We have bench issue, point guard issues, Artest going crazy issues, Gasol playing like a shadow of his former self issues, but we have to give credit were credit is due. We have Dirk issues, we can't stop the freaken German!!!
Anways I give the Lakers Two years before we're back on top!!!
It was fun while it lasted.

I love your optimism, but as a realist going on the road down 0-2 doesnt give me much hope. Panic, nope just resigned to the fact that we're getting dominated by a better opponent.

we'll see... but as far as "throwing bynum under the bus" please the dude has been a dissapointment and never reached the expectations that were set for him as a 7 footer. "played well this series" We didn't get Bynum to play well, we got him to play GREAT!! He's a 7 footer!!!He was supposed to be the go to guy when Koby succummed to father time. Bynum has been a dissapointment and thats an understatement.

Bynum is young but he's as delicate as a freaken china doll, a 23 yo with the knees of a 73 yo. Time to rebuild and trade him for a real big man, like D.Howard, and a young great PG like CP3!!!
